Emotional Volatility Index (EVI) – A New KPI for Player Behavior Analytics in iGaming

Players exhibit varying behavioral reactions to wins and losses. With advancements in behavioral analytics and emotional state tracking, we can dive deeper into understanding and predicting shifts in their gaming patterns, enabling us to fine-tune the player experience. What is EVI? The Emotional Volatility Index (EVI) tracks the frequency of changes in gaming actions and emotional states, leveraging micro-behavioral data such as bet delay, average session duration, time between interactions with the interface, and variability in risk-taking decisions.
